Therapeutic Assessment

Approaches

A therapeutic assessments that puts your child at the heart of it.  A holistic and comprehensive assessment process that includes all those that are involved in your child's life to provide support for the whole child.

Help to understand your child's hidden potential within neurodiversity.

As a School Psychologist, I assessed and diagnosed children (ages 4-18) with psychological, behavioural, or learning challenges in the educational system. This experience revealed a lack of personalised care and comprehensive support available in education, prompting me to shift my perspective. During this time, I transitioned from traditional diagnosis-focused training to embracing a holistic approach tailored for the overall well-being of the
whole child.

Therapeutic Assessment Approaches

Aside from individual therapy sessions, parent workshops, play therapy and intensive play therapy packages, I specialise in psychological assessments. Assessments can be an important first step in understanding your child’s needs and finding the right support. Every child is different with their own strengths and challenges. We will discuss your concerns first to determine the most suitable assessment option for your child.

Cognitive Assessment (IQ test)

Helps to identify a child’s potential for learning and their preferred learning style, identifying their cognitive strengths and weaknesses. The results can support with the implementation of individualised intervention and learning plans for children and can help identify intellectual giftedness or learning difficulties.
